Welcome

Return to the Continent

Ghana is where the story of the diaspora begins, and it is where your personal journey of reconnection starts. Home base is a five-star hotel in Accra, with private transfers, curated dining, and concierge-level service from the moment you land.

Receive your Ghanaian name at the Assin Manso naming ceremony. Walk the grounds of Cape Coast Castle with intention and reverence. Journey north to Tamale to see the shea butter trade up close. And in between, custom tailoring, fresh braids, beach clubs, and a rooftop farewell over the city.

It's a homecoming for travelers who want cultural reconnection with comfort, care, and intention, with rest built into every day of it.

Where Legacy Meets Luxury

What Awaits You

01

Cape Coast Castle & The Naming Ceremony

An all-white day of remembrance: the Assin Manso naming ceremony, the Slave River, and the Door of No Return.

02

The Business of Shea Butter

A day trip to Tamale in Northern Ghana to see the shea trade up close and source directly from the cooperatives behind it.

03

Custom Tailoring & Braiding

The tailor and braiders come to you at your hotel. Fabric selection, measurements, and fresh looks in your first days.

The Journey, Day by Day

How the Days Unfold

Every day balances history, elevated comfort, and intentional rest, so you return home transformed, not tired.

Accra, Ghana, Day 1: Homecoming, Arrive & Exhale

Day 1

Homecoming, Arrive & Exhale

Touch down at Kotoka International and let the private transfers carry you to your five-star home base in Accra. Your first hours set the tone: the tailor and braiders come to you for fittings and fresh styles, and the group gathers for a welcome dinner to mark the beginning of your homecoming.

Accra, Ghana, Day 2: Rooted in Legacy

Day 2

Rooted in Legacy

A full day inside Ghana's story. Stand in Black Star Square beneath the Independence Arch, visit the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, and walk the halls of the W.E.B. Du Bois Centre, the final home of the man who dreamed of Pan-Africa. Lunch at an authentic West African restaurant in Osu brings traditional cooking with live music, and Makola Market puts you shoulder to shoulder with the artisans of Accra.

Accra, Ghana, Day 3: The Art of Being Seen

Day 3

The Art of Being Seen

A free day designed around you. Book the optional professional photo shoot and capture the beauty of your Blackness on the continent, sink into spa time, or simply live slowly. Business owners can join an optional content creation session.

Accra, Ghana, Day 4: The Door We Walk Back Through

Day 4

The Door We Walk Back Through

The most sacred day of the journey, dressed in all white. At Assin Manso you receive your Ghanaian name at the naming ceremony and stand at the Slave River where our ancestors took their last bath on home soil. At Cape Coast Castle you walk the dungeons and pass through the Door of No Return, then walk back through it, together. A beachfront lunch breaks the day between.

Accra, Ghana, Day 5: Rest Is Strategy

Day 5

Rest Is Strategy

A slow morning, then a late departure to a beach club on the Atlantic. Infinity pool, ocean breeze, Afrobeats, and a long beachside lunch. The only thing on the schedule is rest.

Accra, Ghana, Day 6: The Business of Shea Butter

Day 6

The Business of Shea Butter

An early flight north to Tamale for a full-day immersion in Ghana's shea butter trade, from nut to butter to the cooperatives of women who run it. Lunch and dinner are included on the road.

Accra, Ghana, Day 7: Savor Every Last Bite

Day 7

Savor Every Last Bite

Hands into the food itself with a Ghanaian cooking class over lunch, then your farewell dinner at a rooftop bar with panoramic views over Accra. Shades-of-brown attire, golden hour, one last toast.

Accra, Ghana, Day 8: Farewell For Now

Day 8

Farewell For Now

Breakfast at the hotel and private transfers to Kotoka International. Ghana does not say goodbye, it says come back.
